Snoop Dogg Releases New Song To Lure Kawhi Leonard To Lakers
Kawhi Leonard is one of the most sought after free agents in the NBA. He's claimed the NBA Finals MVP title twice, and he helped turn the Toronto Raptors into NBC champions this past season.
Leonard's talents are not lost on Lakers super fan Snoop Dogg. The famed rapped on Thursday dropped a new track that focuses on Leonard coming to Los Angeles.
"Kawhi, Kawhi, tell me that you'll be a Laker," sings while a beat from Michael Jackson's "Human Nature" plays in the background. The rapper adds, "Kawhi, Kawhi, come back to L.A."
Nabbing Kawhi Leonard would be a major win for the Lakers. Last season the MVP all-star racked up 26.6 points per game alongside 7.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists.
Leonard stepped up his game in the playoffs with 30.5 points per game, 9.1 rebounds, and 24 playoff games.
At 28-years-old there is still plenty of fuel left in Kawhi's tank and any team who grabs him as a free agent will increase their chances at NBA championship glory.
