The Whigs are a trio based out of Athens, GA. "Give'Em All a Big Fat Lip" was the first recorded material to be released by the trio. The band signed to indie label ATO Records, home to artists such as Radiohead, My Morning Jacket and Ben Kweller,in 2006.
ATO Records released The Whigs new album, "Mission Control," on January 22, 2008. It was produced by Rob Schnapf (Beck, Elliot Smith, Guided By Voices) at Sunset Sound and Sound Factory in Los Angeles, CA.
"MISSION CONTROL" is now out in the UK, and in Japan on June 20.
