we are lazy bums with talent. we have had this site for three years and have done nothing since. that is all about to change, you wait and see. stay tuned for new recordings in these coming months and upcoming gigs. as for right now listen to our old shit.

i hope everyone had a wonderful valentines day, i know i did. today it was back to work and i've decided that i am just not cut out for a real job. damn the man. so, i've decided to start persuing this band thing seriously. i've contacted justin about writting during spring break and he has yet to get back to me, typical.
in more news, we have a recording studio!!! my dad knows this guy who writes music and owns a studio and all i have to do is record some lame country songs and we get to use the space. it won't be the best quality, im sure. although, it will be better than the recordings we have up now. those recordings were made in our friend clay's room with his computer mic sitting on a chair in the middle of the room. ah, those were the days.
regarding shows; i'm sure we'll hit the coffee shop circuit with force. i miss performing so much. i hope we both remember all the songs. i think we'll be writing new stuff becuase we're older now and the old songs just seem a little, i don't know, not good. we'll keep the coffee shop cliche becuase it seems to be a fav and it's the first song we ever wrote. we'll tweak oblivious and my favorite song, winter. everything else will be new.
demos demos demos... i can't really give you date but if i have it my way they'll be done, copied, and distributable by the end of the summer. as of late things have been going my way but i'll keep you updated.

WE'RE NOT DEAD! holy shit... i remember posting that last blog almost two years ago. i'm not going to lie to you, we have done nothing. i've been trying to work on stuff on my own but i've had zero luck. Justin is moving back to my part of the state soon and we actually have a...drum roll please... GIG! it's kinda lame but i'm sure we're a little rusty. it's going to be either may 4 or 5 in ruskin. sooooooo far. stop your bitching. if you really love us you will come. it's a festival of some kind, i think there will be beer. i'll buy you a round if you come. cross my heart and hope to die, i will.
we'll have some new stuff and covers that you are sure to love. i'm so excited about this and i think justin is too. he's pretty neutral on most subjects so that means alot. well, thanks for stopping by and checking on us. maybe we'll post the show on utube!!! what a novel idea. we'll have a following in no time. ok, i'm thinking in print now, have to go.

greetings all! it's alli, i'm really liking this set up of the new pure volume. i'm currently in cawthon hall at FSU waiting for justin to wake up from his power nap. we're getting ready to get some new stuff together and finally putting more rough cuts from our old stuff on the site. we're both a little older and a little more serious about this so be on the look out for us. also, if any of our four fans want to help us start booking shows that would be fantastic. thanks so much!
