I am an artist in training. In other words, a highschool freshman who does nothing but draw. I am an art nerd, there is no way around it. I'm self-taught...translation: I fail.

I think failing at art is better than automatically being amazing at it. That way I have to go through hoops and over cars just to develop a style. To improve is an accomplishment, and although I don't improve very fast, it means something to me when I do. It gives me something to strive for.

For the most part I stick with traditional mechanical pencils and paper, as well as MS Paint. Although I have used Open Canvas, Photoshop Elements 3.0 and I am going to invest in SAI Paint tool very soon. It was my favorite program to use, and at only $50, I can't turn it down.

My music influences my art, greatly. I don't draw from my own experiences, as I do from what I see in a song. Or sometimes I just take a sentence and make it a title. I think, without music, my life would be extremely dull. I listen to it about 18/7. (I do sleep sometimes, haha!)
