CHRIS SCHANZ

Alternative / Rock / Psychedelic

Greetings!

Welcome to my online audio resume. I've listed a few projects that I've created over the past decade-or-so here in Seattle. As time rolls on, I'll post some more MP3's that you are welcome to download.

The "Butch Cavity Album" and "Rancho Dos Gringos" were both solo efforts, and my first attempts at digital recording. I would like to give credit to Dave Stubblebine and Frank Ebenal for the good times recording and performing the Butch Cavity albums "Along Came A Spider" and "Super-Happy Fun Time". Chris Wolfe, Steve Wied and Andy Schanz are all co-songwriters on the Fuzzbud album (circa 1994), which I play bass and sing on the track "Run". San Francisco artist Bulldog Clark was my first producer's gig, and will always be my favorite. I was allowed to imbellish and accompany Bulldog's recordings on his "Soledad" and "St. James Infirmary" albums...consolidated here under the "St. James Hotel" album.
